BRIEF
Chard Estate Agents approached TMC in the summer of 2011 to discuss the development of a new magazine for Chard customers. The publication had to be London centric with a good mix of property and lifestyle content. The purpose of the magazine was to give Chard’s audience an opportunity to view a selection of properties for sale in the London regions of South Kensington, Notting Hill, Fulham, Bayswater and Brook Green. In addition, it needed to give an insight as to what life was like in these areas and encourage home sellers / landlords to see Chard as the estate agent of choice in these locations.
SOLUTION
The magazine was developed into a 40-page edition with a 60/40 split of properties to lifestyle content. As well as features on fashion, fitness and gadgets for the home we researched the ‘best bits’ for the five London regions. These included an introduction to life in the area, shopping, eating out and comments from people currently living there.
RESULTS
The magazine was successfully launched in September 2011 and has been very well received. Timed to land on people’s doormats just as the schools returned and the summer holiday season was over. This has been Chard’s first experience of customer publishing and the response has so far been very positive with the next magazine already in the planning stages.
